Bilingual Foundation for the Arts                                         Lincoln Heights, California

I was so excited to meet with someone at the Bilingual Foundation of the Arts. Cecilia, the manager had told me over the phone about 15 years of paranormal experiences there. The theater, founded in 1974, is located in the old Lincoln Heights Jail.

Our first introduction was over 2 hours of talking and hearing about all the things she has seen and heard while working there over the years. Afterwards, on a quick walk through, I heard a man's voice, an iron slammed down in the men's dressing room and a door close behind us.

Needless to say, I came to think of the BFA as a home away from home. We've been to the Jail four different times since Halloween night 2013. As of July 2014, it's closed with the theater moving to a new location and the building being readied for demolition in regards to the LA Riverworks project.

Our very first investigation at the Jail was on Halloween night, 2013. It was the most active that is has been in all the four times we've been there. We didn't have access yet to the Jail proper as that was locked up; but we had access to the basement level - where in the 80s, they filmed part of the first Nightmare on Elm Street movies.
